ARE Resource Access & Study Group Network

AIA Fort Lauderdale is excited to announce the upcoming launch of our Licensure Support Initiative, a new program designed to reduce financial barriers and provide targeted support for Associate AIA Members pursuing licensure.

Through shared access to Black Spectacles’ high-quality study tools and a vibrant, peer-led study group network, this initiative will help emerging professionals stay motivated, build leadership skills, and move confidently along the path to licensure.

What to Expect:

• Black Spectacles Firm Pro Access: Two-user shared license for flexible, high-impact digital study tools

• Monthly Study Group Events: Peer-led sessions focused on collaboration, accountability, and exam topics

• Interactive Programming: Engaging workshops, guest speakers, sketch labs, trivia nights, and more

• Cross-Disciplinary Collaboration: Events with engineers and design professionals to broaden understanding of project delivery and teamwork

Launch Timeline:

The program officially kicks off in May 2025 with a Black Spectacles subscription and orientation event. Study group sessions will run monthly through April 2026, covering every division of the ARE with dynamic and supportive programming.
